Bill Cosby’s Mugshot Released After Being Sentenced to 3-10 Years

Bill Cosby was led in handcuffs after a judge sentenced him to 3-10 years in state prison for sexual assault. Cosby looks downcast in his mugshot.

The judge in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case has sentenced the famed entertainer to 3-10 years in state prison.

The judge also called the 81-year-old a “sexually violent predator,” and it was determined that his name will be on a sex-offender registry sent to neighbors, schools, and victims.

Bill Cosby arrived at the courthouse in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for his sentencing hearing for drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand.

Cosby was convicted on three aggravated indecent sexual assault charges in April, with each charge carrying a sentence of up to 10 years. Cosby has said he vows to appeal.

Will Smith Addresses Jada Pinkett Divorce Rumors in New Song

Will Smith is back in the booth and addressing some longstanding rumors about his marriage to wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

On Wednesday, the 49-year-old actor — who began his career as a rapper under the name The Fresh Prince — dropped a video that teased “new music” was “coming soon,” along with a sample track called “To the Clique.”

In the tune, Smith is as confident as ever about his 25-plus years of success in the entertainment industry and the strength of his marriage, despite tabloid speculation that he and Pinkett Smith might be heading for splitsville.

“Stop the divorce rumors and mind your damn business,” he sings, later boasting about the strength of their family (including kids Trey, 25, Jaden, 19, and Willow, 17). “The real-life Incredibles, last name Smith. Jada, Jaden, Willow, Trey — y’all ain’t f—ing with my clique.”

“To the Clique” comes more than 13 years after Smith’s last album (2005’s Lost and Found), which featured the hit single “Switch.”

“At my peak, I was doing a television show, a movie, and an album every year,” Smith explained in his video. “It was like, churning out that kind of creativity.”

“What happens is you get to a point where you get empty,” he continued. “So I’m excited. I’m reenergized and I’m creating wildly like I used to. I’m ready. I got the beast back.”

The release also comes amid news that Smith will be performing at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, joining Nicky Jam and Era Istrefi on the event’s official song “Live It Up” (produced by DJ and songwriter Diplo).

“It’s an honor to be asked to perform at the 2018 FIFA World Cup,” Smith said in FIFA’s release. “This global event brings people from all over the world together to cheer, laugh and experience magic. Collaborating with Nicky, Diplo and Era on this track represents harmony, eclectic flavors and genres coming together. At the end of the day, we just want to see the world dance.”

Meanwhile, in a recent episode of her new Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk, Pinkett Smith spoke about how supportive her husband has been in their marriage after she suffered an emotional breakdown.

“Will had always told me to put myself first, and I had never really understood what that meant,” Pinkett Smith said, after admitting that she had “withered, curled up in a ball about to die” when she realized she had lost touch with herself.

“I think when I got more understanding about it, and he got more understanding about what that meant, it took a lot of communication,” she added. “At the end of the day, Will is extremely supportive of giving me what I need.”

Disney Donates $1M for STEM Center in Oakland in Honor of ‘Black Panther’ Film

With the success of Black Panther, Disney, the parent company of Marvel Studios, is set to donate $1 million to expand the Boys & Girls Club STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs in Oakland, CA. As the film began to garner more and more attention, the prospects of a box office hit were imminent. Many questioned whether or not some of the money the film was projected to make would go toward the Black community and it seems that Disney is attempting to do just that.

Bob Iger, chairman, and CEO of The Walt Disney Company stated:

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is a masterpiece of movie making and has become an instant cultural phenomenon, sparking discussion, inspiring people young and old, and breaking down age-old industry myths. […] It is thrilling to see how inspired young audiences were by the spectacular technology in the film, so it’s fitting that we show our appreciation by helping advance STEM programs for youth, especially in underserved areas of the country, to give them the knowledge and tools to build the future they want.”

Stacey Dash has officially filed paperwork to run for Congress in California’s 44th District, which is currently represented by Democrat Nanette Barragán. The district includes Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach, and has long been represented by Democrats.

Actress Stacey Dash announced yesterday via Twitter that she has been receiving encouragement to run for public office. Dash tweeted Friday that “a number of people” suggested that she pursue a run for Congress. She asked her followers for their opinions on a potential run for office.

A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office. I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts?” Dash tweeted. There was also a picture with the tweet that said: “paid for by the D2DC ‘Testing the Waters’ committee.”

The “Clueless” actress posted a follow-up tweet Saturday morning apparently pleased with the feedback and will consider running. “In response to numerous calls for me to run for office, I am considering a run for Congress. Would love to know what my fans and friends think,” she tweeted.

The actress currently lives in California. Dash was fired from her position as a contributor at Fox News after she cursed on-air while commenting on former President Obama’s attitude towards fighting terror.

“I didn’t feel any passion from him,” she said. “I feel like he could give a sh*t, excuse me, he could care less.”

Black Panther Becomes Highest Rated Movie Ever on ‘Rotten Tomatoes’

Following a four-day stretch that saw the film accrue the fifth highest-grossing opening in box office history, Black Panther has made its mark as a critical success by swiftly surpassing The Wizard Of Oz as the number one movie of all time on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to the popular movie review site’s ‘Adjusted Score’ ranking formula, the red-hot Marvel Studios production has already amassed a quantitative/qualitative mix of reviews that boosts it above such old school and contemporary classics as Citizen Kane, The Godfather, Get Out and Moonlight.

While a number of the titles listed on the Rotten Tomatoes’ 100 movies of all time list actually rate higher than the 97% that Black Panther is sitting at, they do not combine the number of reviews and the percentage of positive reviews among them to rank above the Ryan Coogler film.

The acclaim that Black Panther has been receiving comes amidst countless headlines reporting on the ridiculous $242 million domestic and $427 million international draw that it scored over the weekend. With the insurmountable success that the production has delivered many are now predicting the impact, it will have on society and what it will mean for Black actors and directors in the industry going forward.

Will the Queen Even Attend the Royal Wedding??

So exciting! Prince Harry and his new fiancée Meghan Markle’s wedding will be in May at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, but what many fans are dying to know is if one very special guest, his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, will be in attendance.

Even though there were rumors swirling that she wouldn’t be present for the red-headed royal’s upcoming nuptials, Kensington Palace’s latest announcement suggests that she may be in attendance. “Her Majesty the Queen has granted permission for the wedding to take place at the Chapel,” the statement read on Tuesday, Nov. 28. People has also reported that the Queen will be there.

The couple announced their engagement on Monday, Nov. 27 — and even revealed Elizabeth knew all about the engagement before it happened because Harry asked her permission to propose! “His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle. The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course,” read a statement from Harry’s father, Prince Charles. “His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month. Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle’s parents. The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace.”

However, some reports suggest that Elizabeth might not attend the special day. Since Elizabeth, 91, is technically the head of the church of England, some say she should not endorse a marriage with someone who’s been divorced. Meghan, 36, was previously hitched to Trevor Engelson from 2011 until 2013.

A source told the news outlet that similar to how she wouldn’t attend her son Prince Charles’ ceremony to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005, she may not make the exception for her grandson. So upsetting!

However, the red-headed royal, 33, and Meghan are still determined to have as much fun as they can at their big day with or without Elizabeth! “It will be fun, but classy,” a source told Life & Style. “Harry isn’t into the stuffiness and formalities that come with being a royal. He’d rather serve rum cocktails and tequila shots than expensive champagne.” We can’t wait!
