Blac Chyna has lawyered up against Rob Kardashian after he released revenge porn of her.
Lisa Bloom, who is Mischa Barton’s attorney in the actress’ ongoing revenge porn case, says she is now working with Chyna.
“I represent Blac Chyna. I just gave Rob Kardashian notice that we’ll be in court Monday seeking restraining orders against him,” Bloom tweeted Friday.
Kardashian, 30, posted naked photos of his former fiancée and graphic text messages to social media on Wednesday after claiming to have learned of affairs. Chyna, 29, responded on Snapchat with claims of abuse and videos of jewelry Rob had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on for her.
Hours later, Bloom released a statement explaining why she’s representing the Lashed cosmetics owner.
“Mr. Kardashian, you are now on notice: revenge porn is illegal. Cyberbullying your ex is harassment. Chyna ended your relationship months ago and she has the right to live as she chooses, work as she chooses, dress as she chooses, and be intimate with who she chooses,” the statement read. “Chyna and I both believe that this is an important women’s rights issue, as too many women and girls have been slut-shamed by exes. It stops now. Your attempts to shame and control her are hereby rejected. Her body, her choice. Her life, her choice. Back off.”
California, home to both stars, has had an anti-revenge porn law on the books since 2013.
Earlier this week, another member of Chyna’s legal team told Page Six that they were “taking this assault against Chyna very seriously and still exploring all available legal remedies to her at this time.”
Bloom previously told Page Six that Chyna “likely has a private right of action against [Rob] for money damages for the emotional distress he has surely caused her.”
Rob and Chyna are parents to a baby girl named Dream Kardashian.
